Question:

In c++,Write a program which reads from a file all digits and prints the largest number which is a multiple of 5.

Answer:

Step 1

Include the header files

In main function declare the variables

Create a input file stream to read the data

Get the no. of lines in the file

Get all the digits form the file and store in an array

Compare the array to find the largest number and also check if it is multiple  of 5

print the result in output console

Step 2

Program:

#include<iostream>
#include<fstream>
#define MAX 100
using namespace std;

int main()
{
int count = 0;
string line;
int n,value[MAX];
int largest=0;
ifstream inFile("test.txt");
while (getline(inFile, line))
count++;

n=count;

inFile.close();
int i=0;
ifstream file("test.txt");
while (!file.eof())
{

file >>value[i];
i++;
}
for(i=0;i<n;i++)
{
if(value[i]%5==0)
{
if(value[i]>largest)
{
largest = value[i];
}

}
}

inFile.close();
cout<<"\nThe largest number multiple of 5 is " <<largest;

return0;
}

Step 3

OUTPUT:

text file and the output console
